The annual Central Valley Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum proved to be life changing for last year’s presenter, Rahul Tiwari, founder of Spooky Action, a company that builds unmanned aerial vehicles that fly forever.
Tiwari had been unknowingly chatting with an angel investor throughout the entire event. Tiwari described the encounter as “serendipitous,” as the forum connection set Tiwari on a path to finding a lead investor for Spooky Action.
“It was totally surreal,” Tiwari said. “I had no idea he was an investor.”
Following the success of last year’s event, the Central Valley Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23 at the Clovis Veterans Memorial District (808 Fourth St., Clovis).
